Want to Improve Your Life
Come To The NEW Alpha Course + Free Dinner
Mondays, Starting August 27
Alpha helps you find your own answers to the big questions about life, relationships, faith and God. Alpha is for singles, couples & parents. Alpha is free, and includes dinner & childcare on Monday nights, starting August 27, 2018, at 6:30 pm, at Christ Church Anglican, 5501 N. Midkiff Rd., in Midland. You must register for Alpha, especially if you will be joining us for dinner or need childcare (ages 0-4 only).
Alpha is for anyone and everyone, because it helps you improve relationships, marriage, parenting and career, no matter where you are on your journey. Alpha is welcoming to all, informal and comfortable. It is an internationally-known, interdenominational, 11-week series of brief videos and discussion. This is the NEW Alpha course, with hosts Toby Flint and Gemma Hunt joining Nicky Gumbel, the founder of Alpha. For more information, see www.alphausa.org.
There are four ways to get involved with Alpha:
- Come: Alpha is a wonderful way to improve your life, and explore, confirm or deepen your faith, enjoy a free meal and make new friends. On the first evening, Monday, August 27, we’ll enjoy dinner and then introduce you to Alpha so you can decide if you want to attend. Alpha meets weekly on Mondays, August 27 through November 12, with an Alpha Weekend, October 12-13 (Friday evening & Saturday morning/early afternoon). It’s best to come to each class, but come when you can. All Monday dinners and childcare (ages 0-4) are included, plus meals and childcare (ages 0-4) during the Alpha Weekend (Friday dinner, Saturday breakfast and lunch). If you are using childcare, please bring a snack for your child. You must register, especially if you are joining us for dinner or using childcare.
- Invite: Invite anyone to Alpha to enjoy a delicious dinner, brief video & relaxed discussion.
- Pray: Pray that God touches participants’ hearts and lives through Alpha.
- Serve: Christ Church members are invited to host or help small group discussion, help cook or serve dinner, etc. Contact the church office at 683-9292.
