Education. Outreach. Fellowship.
Christ Church children’s ministries provide children with loving, secure care and lots of fun; the experience of God’s love and grace; age-appropriate instruction in God’s wisdom and values; and the opportunity to know Christ as Lord and Savior. We strive to provide kids with opportunities in education, outreach and fellowship.
Your child’s education in scripture is vital to a Biblical worldview. Through Sunday School, children’s chapel during worship, Wednesday night dinner & activities and music we offer a comprehensive program to kids at CCA. We seek to teach God’s truths to all children while encouraging families as they raise them to know and love Jesus.
An important concept of learning to love as Jesus did is learning to give of ourselves as Jesus did. At CCA we encourage children to participate in outreach programs starting at an early age. We have a monthly opportunity to assist with the Manor Park Fellowship every fourth Sunday. In addition we will be adding an herb garden in 2018 in which kids will help grow herbs for our Wednesday night meals as well as to be freely given to anyone within or outside of our parish.
Christian friendships are an integral part of a child’s direction he/she may wish to take. We purposely plan events for our children to develop deep-rooted friendships that share their common faith. Whether it is as big as attending summer camp or as small as a game night, we encourage friendships within our church family.
Nursery: Infants and Toddlers. Open at every church event or service involving children and upon request at special events like weddings and funerals.
Our nursery is also open every Friday morning 9:30-11:30. It is a free event open to the community. Please call 683-9292 in advance to secure a spot for your child(ren).
Children’s Church: Children ages 3rd-6th grade leave at the beginning of the 10:45 service to attend a child-friendly service before returning to their families in the nave.
Sunday School: 9:45-10:30 a.m. Christ-centered materials are used to teach and encourage children. Art and creative play are also a big part of our Sunday School time at Christ Church.
Wednesday Night: 6:30-7:30 p.m. after dinner (beginning at 5:45) in the Parish Hall. Time to play, create, and learn more about who God is. Kids meet in the Children’s area HUB.
