What we believe
I. We believe in God, the Father almighty, who created heaven and earth.
God the Father created all things for His good plan (Genesis 1).
II. We believe in Jesus Christ, the only Son of the Father and Lord of all creation.
Jesus is fully God and fully man. He was conceived through the Holy Spirit and born from the Virgin Mary (Luke 1-2).
III. We believe Jesus Christ will return to judge the world.
Jesus Christ will destroy sin and death and give us an eternal home of paradise with Him (1 Corinthians 15:23-28).
IV. We believe in God the Holy Spirit.
The Holy Spirit abides in every Christian empowering and guiding us to obey God and enjoy Him forever (1 Corinthians 3:16).
V. We believe God the Holy Spirit inspired men to write the Bible.
The Bible is God’s Word to us, equipping us with all we need for life and salvation (2 Peter 1:21).
VI. We believe in the holy catholic church.
The Church of Jesus Christ is larger than any one denomination. Through the Holy Spirit, Jesus rules as Lord over His universal Church. (Ephesians 4:4-6).
VII. We believe in the communion of saints.
God’s people, both the living and the departed, are all united into one family through Jesus Christ (Romans 12:4-8).
VIII. We believe in the forgiveness of sins.
Jesus Christ is the only way to God the Father. By His sacrifice, we may receive forgiveness of our sins (Acts 4:12).
IX. We believe in the resurrection of the body.
We will be raised from death to have an eternal, glorified body in God’s new creation (1 Corinthians 15:42).
X. We believe in the life everlasting.
Those who are in Christ will have an eternal home with Him (Revelation 21:2).
