BOHAM Children’s Choir, Wed Oct 3 6:30 pm, after WOW dinner, in the Sanctuary.  Come hear the Bridges of Hope African Ministries children’s choir from Uganda share their hope for a bigger and brighter future through song, dance, and music, while showing the world the hope of the good news of Jesus Christ.

Ministry Fair, Sun Oct 7 After both services.  Join us to help promote the ministries in which you serve, and/or to explore ministries where the Holy Spirit may be calling you to get involved.  No adult Sunday School.  Please contact Bethany at 683-9292 if your ministry needs a table.

Healing Prayer Service, Sun Oct 7 6:30 p.m.  Our speaker will be Deborah Norwood, a Christ Church parishioner, who alternates attending Sunday Eucharist with her husband in order to take care of their son.  Come hear this radiant Christian!

Women’s Bible Study, Tues Oct 9 Come join us for Beth Moore’s The Quest and learn to dig into the Word, to respond to the questions of God, and to bring your questions before Him.  We will also do this women’s study during WOW on Wednesday evenings at 6:30 pm.

Confirmation & Columbarium Dedication With Bishop Iker, Sun Oct 14 Combined Service, 9:30 am.  No adult Sunday School.

All students in grades 7-12, and their friends, are invited to join us for our weekly evening of Bible study & discussion, prayer & thanksgiving, recreation, and snacks.  Bob Hilton will be joining us to talk about sharing our faith.  Doors open at 6:30 pm for video games and hang time.

Men’s Breakfast: Men & Politics: Taking A Stand & Being Christian About It, Sat Oct 13 In today’s world of political extremes, people call each other crazy, racist, offensive, liars, etc.   It’s no wonder many of us don’t stand for much of anything, at least not openly.  What would Jesus do?   Come share ideas on how to stand for God’s values and influence others, at the Men’s Breakfast, 8-9 am.

Daughters of the Holy Cross, Sun Oct 14 3 pm, atrium.  Reports will be given by those who attended the 3rd Provincial Assembly in Dallas, and a service project will be chosen.

Kidz at Kamp!  $30 deposit due Sun, Nov 3 3rd-6th graders are invited to Kidz at Kamp July 28-August 1, 2019, in Glen Rose, Texas. Total cost per camper is $300 paid over 6 installments.  Friends who attend CCA Kids’ services at least 3 times in the year are invited, but please ensure their deposit is turned in by this date as well.  Scholarships are available.
