Functions of the Embassy

Discipleship

Within the embassy, the ambassadors follow the constitution and laws of their native country.

“Teach them to observe all that I have commanded you.” Matthew 28:20

“Whoever has my commandments and keeps them, he it is who loves me. And he who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him and manifest myself to him.” John 14:21

Worship &
Service

Within the embassy, the ambassadors live the way of life that is an essential part of their native country.

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind.  This is the great and first commandment.  And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.” Matthew 22:37-39

Mission &
Outreach

Outside the embassy, the ambassadors proclaim and demonstrate the benefits of their native country.

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” Matthew 28:19a

“Go into all the world and proclaim the gospel to the whole creation.” Mark 16:15

“Heal the sick, raise the dead, cleanse lepers, cast out demons.” Matthew 10:8

Fellowship

The ambassadors create a welcoming environment, encouraging the local people to join them and become citizens of their native country.

“…baptize them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19b

“Therefore welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.” Romans 15:7
